TSJ FC Virginia (FCV) Girls Academy will hold player ID sessions/centers throughout the year. This is for the 2023-2024 soccer year. These events are open to ALL players regardless of club affiliation.
All trials and ID sessions/centers are free of charge. If you are interested in having your daughter attend an Academy evaluation session or ID Center, please fill out the form via the link below and look at the schedule on this page. If you can't make one of the ID Center sessions, please contact us to come out on another date.

College Recruiting Director at TSJFCV - Bobby Puppione - highly experienced and nationally known for his work in helping players navigate the college recruiting process .
College coaches regularly attending training and league matches to watch TSJFCV play.
College coaches will be given access to video of Girls Academy matches to evaluate players (through our video capabilities).
TSJFCV teams attend other Girls Academy approved college showcase events to further increase exposure.
Are players allowed to play other sports in the Girls Academy?
Yes. Players are allowed to play other sports in the Girls Academy. We have players currently playing basketball, volleyball, softball, track, and other sports.
The St. James FC Virginia inspires players to make a difference on and off the field. The goal is to help each child reach his or her potential. To do so, TSJFCV believes in holistic development for each individual player and accomplishes this by providing high quality training and matches along with character development in a first class, daily environment.
The St. James FC Virginia was ranked as one of the top youth girls soccer clubs in the country by Soccer Wire for September 2022.
The St. James FC Virginia took the GA’s U15 championship trophy back to Northern Virginia after a hard-fought defensive battle against NEFC ended with a 1-0 win in the final. TSJ FC Virginia defeated host club Lou Fusz SC by the same scoreline in the semifinals, as their defense came up huge with back-to-back- clean sheets when it counted most.
A total of 17 TSJ FC Virginia Girls Academy players in the class of 2022 have solidified their college decisions, and will be moving on to play at the next level.
Addy Hess, a member of the TSJFCV 2006 Girls Academy Team, has been selected to the U.S. Under 16 Youth National Team.

Victoria (Dori) Haugen has a soccer life that most teenagers could never dream of. Dori has been a regular member of the Norwegian Youth National Team system for most of her adolescent years. Born in 2002, Dori was a key member of the TSJFCV Development Academy, and played for the club for over 7 years. Now at Virginia Tech and learning how to win in the ACC, we recently caught up with her and asked her some questions about her experiences playing internationally.
Q: What was it like to play international matches in Europe?
A: Playing international matches in Europe was an amazing experience that not many people get to do.
Q: What did you like most about the opportunity?
A: What I liked most about this opportunity was learning more of the Norwegian language and playing soccer against top players from many different countries.
Q: How has FC Virginia helped you prepare for this experience?
A: FC Virginia has helped me prepare for this amazing experience by supporting me and helping me every day to become a better soccer player.
Q: How has playing in the Development Academy helped you prepare for this experience?
A: The Development Academy has helped me prepare for this experience by establishing a league focused on quality and composed of the best teams in the country.
Q: Tell us a quick funny story about your experience with the Norwegian National Team.
A: A funny story from my trip was when the girls tried to show me how to play a certain card game but we couldn't understand each other. It was funny.
