Pre-Travel

2022-2023 U8 Academy Program

TSJFCV is excited to announce its 2022-2023 U8 (pre-travel) Academy program!  This year we have added our 4th Academy Training Center which will be located in Chantilly at The nZone (check out the U8 modified Academy page Here).

Participation in the U8 Academy is by invitation only and requires an evaluation session or a coach/ technical staff recommendation.

Spring Training Schedule:

  • North Region (Loudoun) 
    • 2 session per week
      • Tuesdays-  Hanson Park Turf Field 1- 5:00-6:15pm
      • Thursdays-  Bles Park Field 3-  6:15-7:30pm
    • 1 Game per weekend
      • 2 games at Bles Park
      • 2 games at Hanson Park
      • 2 games at The St. James
  • South Region (Springfield)
    • 2 session per week
      • Mondays- STJ- 6:15-7:30pm
      • Wednesdays- STJ- 5:00-6:15pm
    • Games on Saturday's
      • 2 games at Bles Park
      • 2 games at Hanson Park
      • 2 games at The St. James

Spring training will begin the week of March 20th.

ACADEMY CENTERS:  2022-2023

The U8 Academy program will be divided into two training regions:  North (Loudoun & Chantilly) and South (Springfield).  

2022-2023 Playing Season Sites:

  • North Region
    • Loudoun (Bles Park & Potomac Lakes)
  • South Region
    • Springfield (The St. James)

The benefit of this structure is that it allows us to provide programming geographically for ease of travel, it also provides us "in-house" competitive games to supplement outside crossover games and it provides a larger player pool for the creation of our future U9 Travel teams.

 

U8 Academy ID Session Schedule:

**PLAYERS MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE TO PARTICIPATE**

Please Note:  The U8 Academy program is by invitation only.  Players will need to be evaluated and may participate in any of our ID session.  It is our recommendation that players attend a minimum of 2 ID sessions.
