FCV U19 Girls DA Players Start Their Coaching Education Pathway

FCV U19 Girls DA Players Start Their Coaching Education Pathway

This fall, twenty-one U19 Girls DA players took the Introductory Grassroots Module Coaching Course from US Soccer.  It was a great experience for the girls and we are going to continue to support the players that want to continue down the coaching education path. Their next steps will be taking one of the online or in person modules.

"It is a great opportunity for our girls to begin their coaching careers by taking the introductory grassroots module," said Bobby Puppione, FCV Girls DA Director. "We are looking forward to supporting them as they start down the road of coaching. We love having them help coach in our younger ages, and now they can add some formal coaching education as they move forward in the game.”

"I really love the idea of giving back to the sport that gave me so much," said Sydney Ash, FCV U19 DA Player. "The opportunity to be a role model to younger kids and hopefully impact their lives in a positive way is really an awesome idea!"

Our hope is to continue to grow the number of female coaches in the country. This is a great opportunity to support them down their pathway.
