Netforce in U-17 State Semi-finals after 6-1 defeat of Richmond

South Riding, VA (October, 13, 2007) - The defending 2006 State Cup Champion (u-16) FC Virginia Netforce advanced to this year's u-17 semi-finals on Saturday, defeating Richmond Kickers by a score of 6-1. The semis will be played Saturday, October 27 in Williamsburg, VA at Warhill Sports Complex. The match up between the Netforce and Loudoun Red 92 (formerly HotShots) will kick off at 12 noon.
All four U-17 girls semi-finalists represent the top 4 seeds in this year's tournament. Although the Netforce are defending state Champions, the McLean Freedom were seeded at the top due to their Region I Championship. The Netforce - who defeated the Freedom in last years State Cup final were seeded 2nd.
