Courage 94
FC Virginia Courage Rising U-13 girls are holding continuing tryouts throughout the spring season, and will be setting dates for formal tryouts shortly. The team has a rich history of developing fantastic players. We recently made it to the finals of the Jefferson Cup Elite division, and sit near the top of Divison 3 in WAGS. We anticipate promotion to WAGS Division 2 for the Fall U-13 season. We are seeking players who are committed to playing at a higher level and passionate about their sport. These players take responsibiliy for their own soccer career, work very hard at improving at and away from practice, and are great teammates. We are seeking players who have tons of talent and have experienced past success, but feel their passion for the game is fading because they're playing for the wrong coach. Playing for the Courage will spark that passion again and bring out the best in every player. We have a positive approach to teaching with a lot of hard work, but keep things fun. We encourage risk taking, work to provide as much playing time as possible for every player, and teach by praising the good and providing constructive feedback on what needs improvment in a positive manner. We do aspire to win state cup and play in Division 1 of WAGS, but our actual "Goal" is for every player to have he ability and passion to play in high school and college and to achieve their own personal goals within the sport and life.  Contact Coach Chris with any questions or to attend a training session. Visit our team page on this web site for more information.
