Synergy Defender Selected for Region I Pool

Synergy's starting right back, Katie Roman, was selected for the Region I ODP pool. Katie attended the Region I camp this July along with 6 other Synergy players. At the end of camp, held at the University of Rhode Island, Katie was selected to represent Region I in their 2008 ODP pool. Katie is a solid defender allowing little to get past her as can be recognized by Synergy's low goals against this season. Congratulations Katie for a great accomplishment and good luck in December representing Region I in the ODP National Tournament.
