Netforce sweep group, bow out in semis as Disney

The FC Virginia Netforce won their first three games at the prestigious Disney Soccer Showcase. With a 3-2 win over Colorado Rush Nike, and matching 3-0 wins against Carolina Elite SA Premier and ASG FC 91 Gold of Texas. They took on PDA Pride Wednesday in the semifinals, and battled to a 1-0 defeat. Despite the lack of a winning trophy, the team considers the trip a success thanks to strong victories, and the attendance of over 120 different college coaches at their four games.

It has been a great year for the FCV Netforce ending with an exciting State Cup victory!  The year was one of transitions which found the team leaving McLean which had been its home since its founding as U-9.  After a brief season at RFC, the team is permanently housed in FC Virginia in association with the Chantilly Soccer Club.  We are very proud to be part of the new Club under the direction of our Coach Terry Foley.

The team will have the opportunity to showcase their talents this year at a number of college showcase tournaments in addition to WAGS Division I and State Cup play.  Please refer to the "Calendar" section for a more detailed itinerary for the team.
