About FC Virginia
The Football Club of Virginia is an elite soccer player development and travel team program founded by nationally renowned youth coach, and General Manager of Women's Professional Soccer team Philadelphia Independence, Terry Foley. The club's Director of Coaching is former UVA star, professional payer, and local Hall of Famer Cindi Harkes.
FC Virginia is the only club in Northern Virginia that holds a membership in the prestigious Elite Clubs National League (ECNL).
Each of our teams are professionally coached by one or more of the FC Virginia staff coaches, who together have won over 30 State Cup Championships and coached several players who have gone on to successful college, professional, and national team careers.
Beginning at the youngest age groups, we develop players based on the Coerver Coaching pyramid of player development, which focuses on individual and small group skills development. The Coerver method is the largest and most respected soccer education program in the world with an unmatched list of endorsements from national federations, professional clubs, star players and leading coaches.
